Turntables

Technics SL-B270 – SOLD

This Technics turntable has been restored to excellent working condition and will make a great beginner turntable.

The basic restoration service included motor and spindle lubrication (now runs on speed and very quiet), repair of the auto-return and cueing features, and cleaning of the belt as well as all switches and surfaces. The platter was polished and original Technics rubber mat cleaned and still in great shape. A ground wire was soldered in to replace the missing Technics original. Power cord and woking RCA cables are also included. The table also feautures RCA jacks allowing you to upgrade the RCA cables.

The turntable includes an Audio Technica T4P cartridge, a p-mount cartridge similar to the AT-95 in sound. A stylus is NOT included. Replacement styli are available on eBay and various online vendors starting at $12.

The table’s only issue is that two of the four rubber feet are damaged and won’t stay on securely. It is workable as the table can still be placed on top of it, but it will fall off if the table is moved and I would suggest replacing. Technics rubber feet are plentiful on eBay. Additionally, no dust cover included (replacements also available on eBay).
